Friendship Graduation Photos at UC Davis by Davis Graduation Photographer

Some people opt to take graduation photos, but a more rare and extra special portrait session in my opinion is when people choose to take Friendship Graduation Photos. While I only rarely have the opportunity to shoot these, they are among my very favorite type of portrait session. There is just so much laughter and fun to go around! Besides the normal family portraits, I would highly encourage people to book a photographer with some friends. For one, you are able to split the cost, which makes it so much more affordable, but second, I think it is just as important to make lasting memories with the family we choose, our best friends!

When these 7 friends graduated from UC Davis, I had the opportunity to capture their individual graduation photos, but also their friendship. We roamed all around the UC Davis campus and parts of the Arboretum on our bikes, finding all of the best places. There were a lot of laughs along the way!

We did take standard graduation photos as well, both individually and in small groups, with partial and full gown and cap on. But my favorite photos by far were all the ones we took before where everyone was just in dresses and posing together as big happy group.
