30 Minute Maternity Session

This session is ideal for first time parents! This 30 minute session focuses on providing both amazing solo maternity photos celebrating your bump, as well as couple and family photos with up to one child

Combined Maternity and Family Session

Perfect for including your children or even your pets! This photo session combines a full maternity session and family session, which will give you not only beautiful photos of yourself but also amazing photos highlighting the rest of your family members as well. This session takes about an hour.

Maternity Photography: Frequently Asked Questions

Question 1: When should I take my Roseville maternity photos?

I always recommend between 28-34 weeks as the best time for a maternity photo session. You will have a visible bump but still feel comfortable moving around easily during your photoshoot. In this timeframe, you will also be able to receive your photos back before you give birth, which might not be possible with a later session timed close to your due date. That being said, if you have already passed this time period, it’s not the end of the world at all and you should still reach out! I still do regularly photograph pregnant mamas who are due soon thereafter.

Question 2: When should I book my maternity photoshoot?

It is best to book your maternity session as early as possible, in order to have the most availability options, but I also understand the feelings of wanting to wait to make sure the pregnancy progresses healthily. One great option is to book a session immediately following your 20 week anatomy scan. This gives enough lead time to make sure that there will be open session slots, while giving you the comfort of knowing that your baby is developing well. If you are already past 20-22 weeks gestation, I recommend reaching out as soon as possible to get a session booked to ensure availability. That being said, I do sometimes book and photograph sessions of mamas that are 35-38 weeks along and both book and have the session in the same week or two of first contact. So don’t despair if the early booking ship has sailed and simply reach out and we can see what we can do!

Question 3: Where will the Roseville photo location be for my maternity session?

I have a large variety of different and beautiful photo locations in the Roseville and the surrounding Lincoln and Rocklin area to choose from. Depending on the time of year of your session, you might be able to take advantage of almond blossoms or lavender flowers at Bywater Hollow Lavender Farm, wild flowers at Adam Baquera Park, beautiful lake greenery at Coyote Pond Park, or pumpkin and fall vibes at Bishop’s Pumpkin Farm.
