I have two dogs myself: Leo, an 11 year old cattle dog and Ziva, a 2 year old border collie, and am also an avid horseback rider. As both a Sacramento pet photographer and a dog trainer to my own dogs, I definitely have all of the tricks to get animal attention and participation for a photo session. The trick is definitely some favorite treats, toys, silly sounds and unusual items. A good understanding of photoshop is also great for when leashes or halters need to be edited.
